We are seeking an experienced, polished, and service-driven Fine Dining Server to join our upscale Italian restaurant. Position Summary

The Fine Dining Server is responsible for providing exceptional table service while creating a memorable dining experience for every guest. The ideal candidate possesses extensive food and beverage knowledge, strong communication skills, and the ability to anticipate guests' needs while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism.

Responsibilities

· Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, courteous, and professional service throughout their dining experience.

· Present menus and accurately describe menu items, daily specials, preparation methods, and ingredients.

· Demonstrate knowledge of Italian cuisine, wine pairings, cocktails, and specialty beverages.

· Take food and beverage orders accurately using the restaurant's point-of-sale (POS) system.

· Coordinate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely and accurate delivery of all orders.

· Monitor guest satisfaction and promptly address questions or concerns.

· Maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned tables and service stations.

· Process guest payments accurately and responsibly.

· Complete opening, closing, and side work duties.

· Follow all food safety, sanitation, and responsible alcohol service guidelines.

· Work collaboratively with bussers, bartenders, hosts, and management to provide seamless service.

Qualifications· Minimum of two (2) years of serving experience in an upscale restaurant is required.

· Excellent knowledge of food, wine, cocktails, and fine dining service standards.

· Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.

· Professional appearance and demeanor.

· Ability to multitask while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.

· Experience with POS systems and cash handling.

· Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift trays weighing up to 30 pounds.

· Strong teamwork skills and a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Employment Requirements

Applicants must:

· Have a valid Social Security Number and be legally authorized to work in the United States.

· Be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

· Maintain a professional appearance consistent with our fine dining standards.

· Be dependable with excellent attendance and punctuality.

· Successfully complete any required pre-employment screening.

Preferred Qualifications

· Experience serving in an upscale or luxury dining environment.

· Knowledge of Italian cuisine and regional wines is highly desirable.
