This isn't just a "loader" position. We need a machinist who understands live tooling, complex setups, and the art of maintaining tight tolerances in a fast-paced environment.

The Role: Precision in Motion

• Setup & Execute: Take full responsibility for setting up, troubleshooting, and operating Doosan Lynx lathes. You’ll handle everything from low-volume prototypes to high-volume production runs.
• Master Live Tooling: Utilize live tooling capabilities to maximize efficiency and part quality.
• Quality Authority: Perform First Article and in-process inspections using a full suite of precision tools, including Hard Gaging, Vision Systems, and Optical Comparators.
• Troubleshoot & Optimize: Diagnose complex machining issues and job problems with minimal supervision. You are the expert at your spindle.
• Shop Stewardship: Maintain machine health through daily maintenance, chip management, and spindle/collet care to ensure zero-defect production.

What You Bring

• Expertise: 3–5 years of dedicated experience with 2-axis CNC lathes (Live Tooling experience is a major plus).
• Technical Literacy: You speak the language of Blueprints and GD&T. You don't just see lines; you see the finished part.
• Cutting Logic: A strong grasp of metal cutting principles—you know exactly how to dial in feeds and speeds for different materials.
• Communication: Clear, professional oral communication skills to coordinate with the wider production team.
• Compliance: Must be a US Citizen and able to pass a background screening/drug test.
