Job Summary- The Biology Lab Instructor/Coordinator is a hybrid position that combines instructional duties with lab management responsibilities. This role is essential to supporting the biology department’s instructional goals by ensuring efficient lab operations and expanding course offerings.
The Lab Instructor/Coordinator will be responsible for teaching two Anatomy and Physiology labs (6 LEH), managing and preparing all biology labs for faculty (9 LEH), and maintaining compliance with safety regulations. Additional responsibilities include ordering supplies, maintaining equipment, and overseeing daily lab activities. The total instructional load is 15 LEH, with 10 required office hours per week each fall and spring semester.
