The Opportunity

As our Healthcare Project Manager (MEP), you'll serve as both technical leader and trusted advisor, overseeing complex healthcare mechanical engineering projects from concept through construction closeout.

You'll guide multidisciplinary teams, mentor emerging engineers, strengthen client partnerships, and ensure exceptional project execution every step of the way.

What You'll Own Leadership & Project Delivery

• Lead and mentor engineering staff, helping develop future leaders within the organization.
• Manage staffing plans, schedules, and resource allocation across multiple concurrent projects.
• Drive project execution to ensure quality, profitability, and timely delivery.
• Delegate effectively while maintaining accountability for outcomes.
• Facilitate collaboration across internal disciplines and external consultants.
• Lead client meetings and foster trusted, long-term relationships.
• Monitor project communications among staff, clients, contractors, and owners.
• Participate in project planning, budgeting, and strategic decision-making.
• Support business development efforts, proposal preparation, and scope development.

Technical Excellence

• Oversee the design and engineering of healthcare and commercial building systems.
• Supervise preparation of engineering studies, reports, and analyses.
• Ensure compliance with applicable building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
• Manage construction administration activities, including RFIs, submittals, and field reports.
• Evaluate system alternatives and recommend practical, cost-effective solutions.
• Review and assess Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM) construction costs.
• Maintain quality control throughout all phases of project delivery.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 10+ years of experience within a consulting engineering environment.
• Demonstrated success managing healthcare projects from design through construction administration.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary project teams.
• Strong understanding of mechanical building systems.
• Working knowledge of coordination across MEP disciplines.
• Experience preparing complete construction bid documents.
• Proficiency with design and calculation software.
• Experience using Bluebeam, AutoCAD, and Revit.
• Strong communication, organizational, and client relationship skills.
• Ability to effectively lead teams within a hybrid work environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• LEED Accredited Professional designation.
• Experience supporting projects in corporate office, higher education, science and technology, retail, medical, manufacturing, and tenant improvement environments.
• Experience evaluating construction costs and ROM estimates.
• Participation in business development, proposal preparation, and client pursuits.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary Range: $180,000–$200,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
