Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook food items according to established recipes and safety standards, ensuring quality and consistency.
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for retail sales transactions, cash handling, and order processing.
• Provide friendly customer service by taking orders, answering questions about menu items, and upselling additional products to enhance guest experience.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, dining areas, and food preparation zones in compliance with food safety regulations.
• Assist with food handling, bussing tables, and managing food safety protocols to ensure a safe environment for staff and guests.
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly while maintaining high standards of service.
• Support retail sales transactions at the register with accuracy using POS systems; handle cash and credit card payments efficiently.

Skills

• Strong customer service skills with the ability to upsell products confidently while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Knowledge of food safety management practices, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures.
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume periods without sacrificing quality.
• Basic math skills for retail math, cash handling, and order accuracy.
• Previous experience in café or restaurant settings is preferred but not required; a willingness to learn is essential.

Pay: $14.00 - $14.25 per hour
