Store Hours:
Monday - Friday 9:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
Saturdays 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. (Must be available to work on Saturdays)

The ReStore store is a retail business that sells donated building materials, furniture, and appliances at discounted prices to generate revenue to support HFHPBC in its mission to build homes, communities and hope.

POSITION TITLE: Truck Driver (box trucks up to 26')/ Salesfloor help- Part Time

PURPOSE: This position is responsible for assisting with monitoring truck performance, executing store donation pick-ups and deliveries. The drivers are responsible for timely pick up of large home furnishings from local residences and delivering service with a smile! When a driver/asst driver is not needed, this employee will be in store assisting with donations, merchandising, pricing, and ringing register as needed.

REPORTS TO: Store management

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensure and maintain a high level of customer service
• Understand store pricing guidelines and purchase procedures
• Delivery, processing and movement of all goods
• Assist donation drop off at back door
• Answer phones and provide customers with store information
• Maintain safe, clean, organized work environment
• Assist staff as needed with store operations
• Assist staff as needed on sales floor
• Assist as needed on the register and accurately accept payment from customers
• Perform other duties as directed on as-needed basis including working on the truck for pick-ups and deliveries.
• Ensure and maintain a high level of customer service
• Movement and supervised pricing of all goods

Essential Job Functions:

• Effective communication and listening skills both verbal and non-verbal.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred, but not required.
• Computer skills: Microsoft Office Suite and other assorted cloud based programs
• Ability to sit stationary or walk and stand for extended periods of time. Must be able to twist, turn, bend, stoop, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach, push, pull and subject to environmental conditions, noise and hazards.
• Worker is required to have visual acuity to operate motor vehicles and/or heavy equipment.
• Heavy work. Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
• Typical retail store settings combined with outside environmental conditions; subject to noise, vibration, hazards and activities occurring inside and outside and often extreme temperatures.
• Limited travel may be required, fast paced environment with medium-high stress based on multiple projects, deadlines, timelines and the need to react quickly and respond quickly.

Required license or certification:
