AUTOMOTIVE WARRANTY ADMINISTRATOR

THE POSITION: The Warranty Administrator prepares, records, and reconciles warranty claims and submits them to the manufacturer.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Ford Experience
• Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
• Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
• Proficiency with Reynolds & Reynolds/Ignite System, or the ability to quickly learn.

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
• 1-2 years related experience and/or training preferred.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Audit work orders for manufacturer and state compliance.
• Match warranty claims with warranty tickets.
• Process warranty claims in an accurate and timely manner.
• Verify the criteria required by the factory.
• Post credits.
• Report warranty errors to Service Manager and Service Team.
• Keep schedules current.
• Any other duties as assigned by management.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
• Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization’s facilities.
