Position Summary
We are seeking a customer-focused Pharmacy Technician I – Participant Services professional to support members, healthcare providers, and internal teams with prescription-related inquiries and issue resolution. In this role, you will serve as a primary point of contact, handling inbound calls, researching requests, coordinating with cross-functional departments, and resolving non-clinical concerns.

Schedule

• Hours of Operation: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM EST
• Scheduled shifts will fall within these hours based on business needs
• Occasional overtime may be required based on operational demands

Training

2-3 weeks paid training program:

• 2 weeks instructor-led classroom training
• 2-3 days monitored production with support

Key Responsibilities

• Respond to inbound calls and inquiries from members, providers, and internal departments.
• Research and resolve prescription-related questions and concerns.
• Accurately document interactions and maintain detailed records.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely issue resolution.
• Navigate multiple systems and databases while managing a high volume of requests.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and maintain professionalism in all interactions.
• Escalate issues appropriately when additional review is required.

Required Qualifications

• Active Texas or Arizona Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacy Technician Trainee License
• High School Diploma or GED
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Proficiency with Windows-based computer applications
• Ability to multitask, prioritize workload, and resolve issues efficiently
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications

• National Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT)
• Previous pharmacy, healthcare, call center, or member services experience
• Knowledge of pharmacy operations and prescription processing
• Experience supporting customers in a high-volume environment

Education

• Active Texas Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacy Technician Trainee License
• High School Diploma or GED
