Senior Business Intelligence Analyst

Hopeful for those we support, rebellious in our approach, and collaborative by breaking down barriers, AccessHope is seeking Senior Business Intelligence Analyst to help us uniquely deploy the latest cancer knowledge to the places it’s needed most. As an ideal candidate, you’ll be responsible for the design and management of Business Intelligence (BI) tools and application environments for AccessHope. This role works with the Clinical Team, Sales Support Team, end users and operational leadership to design, configure, and manage BI tools (primary Tableau) that supports client and user-defined needs, creating and delivering client defined reports, provides end-user training and documentation as needed. - Development and management of various BI reports, including client reporting packages, operational reports, and various dashboards for the appropriate teams/leadership
- Develop customized SQL script for data warehouse consumption or BI solutions.
- Develop automated reporting processes and data quality checks.
- Day-to-day business contact for BI reporting & dashboard initiatives, serving as a liaison to client, operational, clinical, research and/or ancillary business departments
- Coordinates aspects of software requirements and build, including the gathering & analysis of BI project and scope to produce a software requirement/enhancement document
- Assists in establishing new BI projects, including new client reporting packages, maintenance of business reporting, new build of BI reports/dashboards, etc.
- Validates necessary software solutions meet BI reporting requirements and help in creating user acceptance test plans and test criteria for business intelligence projects as needed.
- Identify trends, risks, opportunities, and performance improvement initiatives.
- Strong analytical capabilities coupled with the ability to identify issues, obtain mutual agreement as to the resolution and implement change.
- Demonstrated ability to operate in an ambiguous, evolving, and fast-paced environment.
- Must have innovative mindset in ensuring BI is adapting accordingly with the changing business needs.
- Contribution to building and promoting a culture of personal and outcomes-based accountability.
Required
- Bachelor’s degree Business Administration, Computer Science, Analytics, Statistics, similar field of study; 4 additional years of experience plus the minimum experience requirement may substitute for minimum education
- 5 + years BI or business analyst experience or similar data analysis, data visualization or data reporting position
- Two (2) or more years’ Healthcare experience
- Two (2) or more years’ Microsoft SQL server experience and Visualization tool experience (such as Tableau creator development)
- CRM platform knowledge (Salesforce preferred)
- Ability to customize BI tolls to meet user needs
- Ability to translate business questions and requirements into reports, templates and analytical views
- Ability to troubleshoot hardware and software based technical issues to ensure a stable, robust BI environment
- Strong analytical capabilities coupled with the ability to identify issues, obtain mutual agreement as to the resolution and implement change.
- Strong track record working independently, under pressure, and handling multiple deadlines.
Preferred
- Seven (7) + years of healthcare BI or business analyst experience or similar data analysis, data visualization or data reporting position in a healthcare or related industry
