We are seeking an energetic and customer-focused Front Desk Receptionist to join our vibrant fitness center team. In this vital role, you will be the first point of contact for members, creating a welcoming environment while efficiently managing front desk operations. FRONT DESK RECEPTIONIST:

• Follow opening and closing procedures for fitness, spa, and locker rooms
• Greet members in person by using their last name
• Promptly answer phone calls, and reply to emails in a professional manner
• Schedule and confirm member appointments, and ensure customer data is entered into the system correctly ex: Names, dates etc.
• Update and maintain all monthly documents ex: Monthly Guest fees
• Process member charges ex: retail, spa treatments, class fees etc.
• Follow procedures for inputting specific information regarding document transactions ex: gift cards
• Organizes workflow and appointment by routing correspondences, collecting customer information, and managing assignments
• Efficiency in filing and retrieval systems in both software and paper files
• Submit previous days documents to the proper mailboxes and retrieve delivery in the valet room (Main building “upstairs”)
• Communicate all retail and supply needs to Retail Assistant Manager
• Always maintain confidentiality, on site and off
• Knowledge base in excel, word and outlook email programs

FITNESS ROOM PREPARATIONS

• Restock towels, headsets and straighten up equipment and weights
• Prepare fruit water, restock complimentary items
• Follow all open/close procedures

LOCKER PREPARATIONS

• Prep daily, restock coffee supplies etc. and check lights and candles are working
• Finalize end of day tasks and lock doors before leaving
• Follow all open/close procedures

SPA PREPARATIONS

• Prep spa rooms for the daily appointments
• Make sure lights and candles are lite, turn on the Hydrocollator
• Turn on music, air purifier and the Infrared Sauna
• Follow all daily open/close procedures

Experience

• Previous office administrative experience in a busy environment is preferred
• Strong computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), Google Workspace, and data entry skills
• Excellent customer service skills with experience in phone reception and client communication
• Ability to multitask effectively while maintaining attention to detail in clerical tasks such as proofreading and filing
• Familiarity with office equipment including multi-line phone systems
• Demonstrated organizational skills with experience managing calendars, scheduling appointments, and handling time-sensitive tasks

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
