Position Summary
Pearl Health Clinic is seeking a Psychologist Department Head with a strong emphasis on psychological and neuropsychological testing services to join our multidisciplinary team serving Southeastern Idaho.
This role is primarily assessment-driven, focused on delivering high-volume, high-quality diagnostic evaluations for a complex, high-acuity population. In addition to direct testing work, this position provides leadership in testing workflows, supervision of psychometric staff, and program development.

Key Responsibilities
Psychological & Neuropsychological Testing (Primary Focus)
- Conduct high-volume, comprehensive psychological and neuropsychological evaluations for Medicaid and commercial populations
- Review and triage referrals to determine medical necessity and develop efficient, targeted testing batteries
- Administer, score, and interpret a wide range of instruments (WAIS-V, WISC-V, ADOS-2, MCMI-IV, PAI)
- Formulate complex differential diagnoses (SMI, trauma-related disorders, ASD, ADHD) using DSM-5-TR criteria
- Integrate psychometric data, interviews, and historical records into clear, detailed, insurance-compliant reports
- Maintain rapid report turnaround times aligned with clinic and payer expectations
- Provide comprehensive feedback sessions to patients, families, and referring providers
- Manage high-acuity, multi-system cases with co-occurring conditions and psychosocial complexity
Department Leadership & Supervision
- Oversee and manage psychological testing operations and workflow efficiency
- Provide supervision and support for psychometric staff (1 full-time, 1 part-time)
- Contribute to program development, quality assurance, and service expansion
Clinical Care (Secondary Role)
- Conduct diagnostic intakes as needed
- Provide psychotherapy (individual, family, or group) as appropriate
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members for coordinated care
Qualifications
- PhD or PsyD in Clinical Psychology
- Licensed or license-eligible in Idaho
- Strong background in psychological and/or neuropsychological testing (required)
- Advanced skills in diagnostic formulation and integrated report writing
- Ability to manage high-volume testing caseloads and strict timelines
- Leadership or supervision experience preferred
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Commitment to serving underserved and complex populations
Compensation & Incentives
- NHSC Loan Repayment Eligible Site
- $120,000 – $140,000 annually (DOE)
