We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Construction Sales Representative to join our growing team. In this role, you will be the key driver of new business development and customer relationship management within the construction industry. Your energetic approach and technical expertise will help you identify opportunities, build lasting client partnerships, and close high-value deals. *****PLEASE READ***** You will be responsible for establishing your own clientele. Although we can supply you with contacts and leads, you will need to establish your own book of business. We are looking for closers. Someone who can come in and hit the ground running. If you aren't confident that you can come in and fill the schedule you should not apply for this position.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic sales plans to target construction companies, contractors, superintendents, and project managers within assigned territories.
• Prospect for new clients through cold calling, networking, lead generation activities, and leveraging CRM software tools.
• Conduct engaging product demonstrations and technical sales presentations to showcase solutions tailored to customer needs.
• Manage existing accounts by providing exceptional customer service, upselling additional products or services, and ensuring client satisfaction.
• Utilize sales management systems like Salesforce or equivalent CRM platforms to track leads, manage pipelines, and analyze sales data for continuous improvement.
• Negotiate terms, prepare proposals, and close deals efficiently while maintaining professional integrity and customer trust.
• Collaborate with marketing teams to develop territory-specific campaigns that enhance brand visibility and generate qualified leads.
• Attend all local AGC and ABC events and represent the company while networking with other attendees.

Requirements

• Proven experience in outside sales, B2B sales, or territory management within the construction or related industries. A bonus if you have concrete, demolition, or concrete cutting sales experience but not necessary.
• Strong background in business development, account management, and direct sales strategies.
• Familiarity with CRM software such as Salesforce or other sales management systems; proficiency in technology sales is a plus.
• Excellent negotiation skills combined with the ability to conduct compelling product demos and upsell effectively.
• Demonstrated success in prospecting through cold calling, lead generation, and inside/outside sales channels in a remote environment.
• Exceptional communication skills with a focus on customer service and relationship building.
• Ability to analyze market trends, develop territory plans, and execute sales strategies confidently.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $250,000.00 per year
