Orthodontic Managers are the directors of our orthodontic practices. Successful candidates will demonstrate leadership skills, be highly motivated, be an effective communicator, and provide structure and direction to their team.

We are looking for driven, sales minded and experienced orthodontic or dental professionals who are passionate about providing excellent patient experiences and changing lives.

Duties

• Manage the overall operations of the orthodontic practice, including scheduling, patient flow, and clinical workflows
• Supervise and support staff, administrative personnel, and dental assistants to ensure high-quality patient care and team cohesion
• Oversee fiscal management activities such as budgeting, billing, collections, and financial reporting
• Ensure compliance with health regulation policies, HIPAA privacy standards, and OSHA requirements
• Maintain accurate account and electronic health records (EHR)
• Coordinate with RCM and ensure proper billing of insurance plans
• Implement practice management strategies to enhance patient satisfaction, operational efficiency, and revenue growth
• Establish clear goals and expectations for your direct reports, while supporting the standards and policies of the group and its owners.
• Meet or exceed stated goals and KPI's consistently

Skills

• Proven experience within a dental or orthodontic setting with supervising responsibilities
• Experience in Treatment Coordination and patient care plans
• Proficiency in EMR/EHR systems such as Eaglesoft, Dentrix, eClinicalWorks or Epic for managing medical records and billing processes
• Excellent attention to detail
• Familiarity with dental office experience, including dental terminology and medical administrative support functions
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively as a healthcare practice manager while fostering a positive work environment
• Knowledge of business processes such as expense reports, accounts receivables, insurance billing and KPI's.
