Design for civil and structural projects at power plants for today's leading energy providers.

• Design and analysis of concrete, steel structures, heavy load components and other equipment supports. Conceptual studies, cost and planning studies, design calculations, specification development, and seismic analysis.
• Develop 3-D analytical models utilizing FEA analysis techniques and response spectra seismic analysis

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering from an ABET accredited program.
• Minimum 5 years RECENT COMMERCIAL NUCLEAR experience.
• MathCAD or MatLAB.
• Finite Element Analysis software, no specific one
• We are seeking candidates for Sr Eng level who has held a previous design verification qual/cert with commercial nuclear projects under 10CFR50 Appendix B QA programs.
• MathCAD Prime as well as GTSTRUDL experience is a must for Senior level engineers.
• Ideally, candidates will be able to perform piping analysis per ASME B31.1 as well as structural analysis is a plus.
• Need a candidate who is ready to jump into preparing and reviewing documents for pipe supports, building structure modifications, rigging load evaluations.
• Steel per AISC Allowable Stress Design (known as ASD) approach (the older code years that commercial nuclear commonly uses).
