Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Truss Designer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing precise and innovative structural designs for various types of roof and floor trusses used in commercial, and residential construction projects using Alpine software. Your expertise will ensure that all designs meet building code and client specifications while optimizing material efficiency and structural integrity. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to large-scale projects by applying advanced design tools and engineering practices in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed truss designs using Alpine Software.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to interpret design specifications and translate them into effective solutions.
• Prepare technical documentation, including system design reports, project engineering notes for review and approval.
• Support project scheduling by estimating timelines for design development phases and coordinating with manufacturing or construction teams.

Skills

• Excellent project management skills with experience in project scheduling, technical writing, and client communication.
• Construction experience is highly desirable to understand on-site challenges and practical application of designs.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints.
• Good at communication and problem solving.
• Being able to work in a team environment.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
