Job Summary:

We are seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Distillery Tasting Room Attendant. As a key member of our distillery, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and creating memorable experiences for our visitors. You will guide guests through the tasting of cocktails and spirits, educate them about our products, and ensure their overall satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a passion for spirits, excellent communication skills, and a friendly demeanor.

Responsibilities:

- Greet and welcome visitors to the distillery tasting room in a friendly and professional manner

- Preparing and serving a wide range of cocktails and beverages to customers. Ensure that all drinks are made to the highest quality and presentation standards

- Assist guests in selecting and purchasing products, offering recommendations based on their preferences and interests.

- Maintain a clean and organized tasting room, ensuring a visually appealing and welcoming environment.

- Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and efficiently.

- Answer customer inquiries, provide recommendations for local attractions, and promote upcoming events and promotions.

- Collaborate with the distillery team to ensure smooth operations and exceptional customer service.

- Adhere to all safety and sanitation guidelines, including responsible alcohol service practices.

- Continuously expand knowledge of our spirits, industry trends, and local craft beverage scene.

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role is highly desired.

- Knowledge and passion for spirits, cocktails, and the distilling process.

- Excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to engage and educate customers.

- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and create a positive customer experience.

- Professional and friendly demeanor, with a customer-centric approach.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

- Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory management.

- Must be 21 years of age or older.

- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Compensation

· $10 - $12 per hour plus tips

• Hrs
• Wed – Fri 2 p.m. – 10 p.m.
• Sat – Sun 10 a.m. – 10 p.m.
