Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of innovative menus tailored to diverse dining settings, including fine dining, catering, and banquet services.
• Supervise daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient workflow, food preparation, and presentation that meet brand standards.
• Manage food production processes while maintaining strict adherence to food safety sanitizing procedures and hygiene regulations.
• Oversee inventory control and management to optimize food costs, minimize waste, and ensure availability of ingredients for all service periods.
• Supervise and mentor culinary staff, fostering team management skills, professional growth, and a positive work environment.
• Coordinate with the dietary department to accommodate special dietary needs and ensure compliance with nutritional guidelines.
• Implement quality control measures for food handling, serving practices, and kitchen safety protocols across all shifts.
• Oversee catering events and banquet services from planning through execution to deliver memorable guest experiences.
• Manage kitchen staffing schedules including shift management to ensure proper coverage during busy periods.
• Collaborate with restaurant management on menu planning, cost control initiatives, and overall food service management strategies.

Qualifications

• Proven culinary experience with a strong background in fine dining environments; banquet and catering experience is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated supervising experience in a fast-paced kitchen setting with team management responsibilities.
• Extensive knowledge of food production, food handling, inventory management, and food safety sanitizing procedures.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and foster a collaborative work environment.
• Experience in restaurant management or hospitality industry roles with a focus on food service management.
• Skilled in menu planning, cost control strategies, and managing kitchen operations efficiently.
• Familiarity with dietary requirements, catering logistics, and managing large-scale events or banquets.
• Excellent communication skills combined with a passion for culinary excellence and customer service.

Pay: $68,367.77 - $82,335.38 per year
