JOB SUMMARY: Fiscal Officer/Finance Director

· Our Fiscal Officer is responsible for managing the organization’s financial systems, reporting, compliance, budgeting, and audit processes.

· This role is ideal for a candidate who wants ownership of the full finance function and values meaningful work in a supportive, community-focused environment.

· Will also maintain corporate, fiscal, and property documents and records in accordance with written policies and procedures, audit, and funding source standards.

· Maintain general ledger to include, but not limited to, preparation of journal entries, account analysis and reconciliation, monthly closing of books and setting up new accounts.

· Verify all deposits. Address questions from banking institutions.

· Monitor grant receivables from federal, state, and local sources.

· Assist outside auditors at year-end to include, but not limited to, preparing schedules, providing explanation of supporting materials, and preparing other necessary and required data.

· File annual tax forms and government reports.

· Maintain confidentiality of program participants and follow Program and Agency standards and policies.

QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION: Fiscal Officer/Finance Director requires a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field.

· Minimum of 3 to 5 years of accounting or finance management experience preferred.

· Experience with grants, nonprofit, government, or healthcare financial systems a plus.

· Must possess advanced computer skills and be proficient in Excel and accounting software.

· Need strong knowledge of GAAP and fund accounting.

· Ability to work independently and collaboratively with leadership teams and have excellent analytical, organizational and communication skills.

WAGE & BENEFITS: Fiscal Officer/Finance Director salary starting at $65,000 - $80,000 per year, pay based on experience, plus benefits. Benefits include health, life, dental and vision insurance.
