We're looking for a Sales Training Specialist who is passionate about developing people and helping others succeed. In this role, you'll play a key part in preparing new sales representatives for long-term success by delivering engaging training, providing field coaching, and serving as a trusted mentor throughout their onboarding journey.

Compensation

Compensation is based on experience, education, knowledge, and skills. Starting Salary: $65,000-$75,000 annually

What You'll Do

As our Sales Training Specialist, you'll help new sales representatives build the knowledge, confidence, and skills needed to thrive.

Responsibilities include:

• Deliver engaging onboarding programs through classroom instruction, workshops, role-playing, field training, and ride-alongs.
• Provide individualized coaching, mentoring, and constructive feedback to new sales representatives throughout their onboarding experience.
• Conduct field observations to reinforce training concepts and improve sales performance.
• Lead prospecting and appointment-setting sessions.
• Execute the company's sales training curriculum while ensuring consistency across all new hires.
• Partner with the Sales Training Manager to identify development opportunities and continuously improve training programs.
• Assist in developing and updating training materials, job aids, and learning resources.
• Track trainee progress, completion milestones, and performance outcomes.
• Collaborate with sales leadership to align training initiatives with business goals and sales objectives.
• Build strong working relationships with managers to ensure successful transitions into the field.
• Travel regularly to ADS offices and customer locations to provide coaching and support.
• Lead by example by demonstrating effective business-to-business sales techniques in a competitive marketplace.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Your Background & Experience

We're looking for someone with the experience and passion to help new sales professionals succeed.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Three or more years of sales experience within the alarm or security industry is highly preferred.
• Two or more years of outside business-to-business sales experience is required.
• Experience training, coaching, mentoring, or onboarding sales professionals is highly preferred.
• Experience developing or delivering structured training programs is a plus.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.

Work Environment & Travel

This position combines office-based work, classroom instruction, field coaching, and regular travel to ADS offices and customer locations. The role requires travel by motor vehicle and the ability to effectively perform the essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation.

A valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record is required.
