We are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic EMS (Emergency Medical Services) Director to lead our emergency response team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive EMT (Paramedic certification preferred) experience, demonstrated leadership capabilities, and a comprehensive understanding of emergency care protocols. Responsibilities

• Provide strategic direction and operational oversight for all emergency medical services and rescue operations.
• Lead, train, and supervise EMS personnel, fostering a culture of safety, professionalism, and continuous improvement.
• Coordinate emergency response efforts during incidents involving high-angle rescue, confined space rescue, disaster response, and outdoor work scenarios.
• Ensure all team members are proficient in the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA), respiratory protection, and other safety gear.
• Manage on-call coverage schedules to guarantee rapid response times for emergencies requiring CPR, first aid, or advanced rescue techniques.
• Oversee incident management processes, including scene assessment, patient stabilization, transportation coordination, and documentation compliance.
• Maintain equipment readiness by ensuring proper maintenance of rescue tools, PPE, vehicles, and medical supplies aligned with safety regulations.
• Promote adherence to emergency management protocols and facilitate disaster response planning initiatives.

Experience

• Extensive EMT (Paramedic certification preferred) experience with proven expertise in emergency care and first responder field response.
• Demonstrated leadership in managing teams during high-pressure rescue operations and emergency situations.
• Hands-on experience with high-angle rescue operations, confined space rescues, and outdoor work environments.
• Strong background in incident management systems and emergency response coordination.
• Proven ability to operate rescue vehicles safely while demonstrating excellent driving skills under various conditions.
• Experience conducting training sessions on BLS, first aid procedures, respiratory protection techniques, and PPE use.
• Prior involvement in disaster response planning and execution is highly desirable.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Two years in an emergency medical environment desired.
• Current certification by the Texas Department of Health as an Emergency Medical Technician (Paramedic preferred).
• Valid and clear Driver's License.
• Current BLS certification (instructor certification a plus).
• Leadership and Management abilities.
• Ability to adhere to hospital, local and state guidelines.
• Willingness to attend required meetings.

Pay: $22.00 - $40.00 per hour
