We are looking for a high-energy, boots-on-the-ground General Manager to join our opening team. You will take the reins of the pre-opening phase, execute the transition from construction to operations, and build a culture of success from day one.

As the Opening General Manager, you will work hand-in-hand with our corporate opening team to ensure a seamless debut in October 2026! Your primary focus will be:

• Pre-Opening: Managing the countdown to opening, from staffing and training to FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment) setup.
• Leadership: Implementing brand standards and operational workflows to ensure a high-performing property.
• Team Building: Recruiting, hiring, and inspiring a brand-new team of hospitality professionals.
• Community Engagement: Acting as the face of the property in the St. Joseph area to drive local sales and partnerships.

What You Bring to the Table

• Preference will be given to candidates with Choice Hotels experience. Proven success with other major hotel brands is also highly valued.
• You understand the unique challenges of a hotel opening and thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
• You are a hands-on leader who isn't afraid to dive into the details to ensure every guest experience is flawless.
• Strong experience in P&L management, labor control, and driving RevPAR.
