KU Resources, Inc. is a growing engineering, surveying, environmental, and municipal consulting firm seeking a Civil Engineer (0–5 Years Experience) to join our team in Plum Borough, PA.

This position is ideal for recent graduates or engineers with up to five years of experience who are looking to build a career in municipal engineering, site development, utility infrastructure, and stormwater management. You will work alongside experienced engineers on a wide variety of public and private projects throughout Western Pennsylvania.

December 2026 graduates and Spring 2027 graduates are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Prepare engineering plans and drawings using AutoCAD Civil 3D
• Assist with stormwater management, grading, and utility design
• Perform engineering calculations and technical analyses
• Assist with permit applications and regulatory submissions
• Support municipal engineering reviews and land development projects
• Conduct site visits, field investigations, and construction observation
• Prepare reports, cost estimates, and project documentation
• Coordinate with clients, municipalities, contractors, and regulatory agencies

Qualifications

Required

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Valid driver's license and willingness to perform field work

Preferred

• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification or ability to obtain
• Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D
• Coursework or experience in:
• Hydrology and Hydraulics
• Stormwater Management
• Land Development
• Surveying
• Geotechnical Engineering
