Overview
Responsible for the proper receiving of all building materials, millwork manufacturing products, commercial door products and Kitchens.

Responsibilities

• Greeting and acknowledging all vendors and customers in a friendly professional manner.
• Provide quick and accurate response to customers.
• Must be able to work in a fast- passed environment while handling multiple tasks.
• Organization and upkeep of all functions and paperwork related to receiving.
• Maintain a clean and safe receiving area including loading and trash areas and keep storage areas neat, clean and orderly.
• Advise buyers of shortages, damages and back-orders.
• Make sure all merchandise is received by the end of the day.
• Ensure proper paperwork for return goods and that they are closed out.
• Maintains appropriate conformance with company safety policies, procedures, rules and regulations.
• Preform other related duties as assigned by management.
• Act as a group leader for receiving and staff directing work assignments as needed.

Experience

• In-depth knowledge of lumber, construction principles and related supplies.
• Current license to operate forklifts; or ability to train to get a forklift certification.
• Physical ability to move product.
• Good communication skills.
• A positive, professional and collaborative work style with the ability to adapt to growth and change.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $19.50 per hour
