Position Summary

The Clinical RN Supervisor provides day-to-day clinical oversight of home health services and staff. This position supports quality patient care, regulatory compliance, clinical documentation, and interdisciplinary collaboration while serving as a resource to field clinicians.

In Your First 90 Days You Will:

• Build relationships with clinicians and referral partners.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and survey readiness.
• Support staff development and clinical excellence.
• Strengthen documentation and quality assurance processes.
• Help position RiverCare for continued growth and success.

This temporary leadership role is ideal for an RN who can quickly assess operations, support staff, and ensure continuity of quality care during a transition period.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide clinical supervision and support to home health nursing and clinical staff.
• Review patient assessments, plans of care, and clinical documentation for accuracy and compliance.
• Assist with patient admissions, recertifications, and care planning as needed.
• Ensure compliance with Washington State home health regulations, Medicare Conditions of Participation, and agency policies.
• Support quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with physicians, referral sources, patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
• Participate in clinical staff orientation, training, coaching, and performance management.
• Monitor patient outcomes and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Assist with survey readiness and regulatory reviews.
• Provide leadership and problem-solving support for clinical and operational challenges.

Required:

• Active Washington State Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
• Minimum three years of nursing experience.
• Minimum one year of supervisory, leadership, or clinical management experience.
• Experience in home health, hospice, community-based care, or post-acute services.
• Strong knowledge of clinical documentation standards and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.

Preferred:

• Medicare-certified home health experience.
• OASIS knowledge and experience.
• Prior experience supervising interdisciplinary clinical teams.
• BSN preferred.
