Position Description
Art Sentry is a 25-year-old technology company whose security systems help protect priceless works of art at many of the nation’s leading museums. Our technology plays a critical role in safeguarding some of the world’s most valuable cultural treasures.
We’re looking for an IT Operations Specialist to join our team in Middleburg Heights, Ohio.
This is an in-office, hands-on role where no two days are exactly alike. You’ll work across technical support, software testing, server configuration, hardware deployment, shipping, procurement, and customer operations. If you enjoy solving problems, learning new technology, and taking ownership of your work, you’ll have the opportunity to make a real impact while building your technical career.
What You’ll Do
- Provide technical support and troubleshoot customer issues
- Test software releases and document results before deployment
- Configure and stage servers and hardware for customer installations
- Prepare systems for deployment and verify quality before shipment
- Manage shipping, receiving, inventory, and procurement
- Document work accurately and maintain organized records
- Identify issues proactively and drive tasks through completion
- Work closely with our development team

What We’re Looking For
- 2+ years of IT support or technical operations experience
- Experience troubleshooting Windows-based systems
- Basic Linux experience or a strong desire to learn
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy
- Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
Nice to haves
- Networking experience
- Server hardware experience
- Software testing or QA experience
- Experience with shipping, inventory, or procurement
- CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, or similar certifications
