Position Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Therapist/Counselor to join our established mental health team. In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive psychotherapy and counseling services to diverse populations, including children, adolescents and adults. Your expertise will help clients navigate mental health challenges, develop coping strategies, and achieve personal growth through evidence-based practices. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact in clients’ lives while working within a supportive and innovative environment.Clinicians will provide therapy for clients of Harvest Counseling Center rooted in biblical theology and the Townsend Character Structure and Growth model working to improve and develop each person’s unique character components of attachment, separation, integration, adulthood. Full time Clinicians are salaried positions expecting to achieve a minimum of 20 hours per week of direct client care/therapy and all required facets of documentation of the client care. The 20 hours direct care is dependent upon Probationary Employment Agreement or Employment Agreement. HCC Clinicians and Staff are considered part of the Harvest Church Staff and are encouraged to attend/participate in staff activities when able and available. Clinicians are also required to continue their own self-care to focus on growth and emotional development as well as any required continuing education/supervision etc. to maintain state licensing requirements and improve client care.

Specific Duties & Responsibilities

· Complete a minimum of 20 client hours/visits per week; averaging 80 hours/visits in a month.

· Prepare and maintain all required treatment documentation including Treatment Plans every 6 months, Clinical Assessment Intakes, Progress Notes, and other miscellaneous documentation as relevant for client care.

· Clinician documentation is expected to be completed in a timely manner: within 3 days from Date of Service. HCC engages in routine internal audits of clinical documentation.

· Provides individual, couples, and family counseling.

· Create a safe environment where clients express their feelings, thoughts, and behaviors to explore core character traits and implicit core emotional learnings driving their symptoms.

· Facilitate change strategies such as corrective emotional experiences, mentalization, mindsight, healthy relationships with God and others, and new behaviors.

· Facilitate clients’ development of skills and strategies for dealing with identified concerns.

· Maintain the strictest confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA guidelines/regulations.

· Work closely with other staff and clinicians.

· Participate in the onboarding and clinical orientation process.

· Refer clients or family members to community resources or specialists as necessary.

· Modify treatment activities and approaches as needed to comply with changes in the client’s status.

· Commit to continuing education: reading professional literature, attending training, etc.

· Keep counseling license current and in good standing and/or working towards licensure.

· Must abide by ACA, AAMFT, or NASW code of ethics.

· Must abide by Harvest Counseling Center policies and procedures.

· Immediately report unusual or abnormal behavior of clients/families including DCS reports, threats, or statements that may put the staff of the Harvest Counseling Center at risk.

· Attend Staff Meetings and monthly training sessions as required.

· Other duties as assigned by the Clinical Director.

Required Education, Skills & Qualifications

· Must have a master’s degree or higher which meets Montana State Licensure requirements in Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy or Clinical Social Work.

· Must be in good standing with the Montana State Licensing Board.

· If unlicensed, the Clinician must be making progress towards licensure as a Candidate.

· The ability to talk, hear, see, reach, bend, stoop, sit for extended periods of time.

· Must have a lifestyle that reflects a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

· Must have a passion to minister to the emotional and spiritual needs of individuals, families, and the community.

· Ability to communicate effectively and work well with others.

· Excellent time-management skills and punctuality required.

· Knowledge of general computer programs, including but not limited to Microsoft Word, Gmail or Outlook, Google Documents, Therapy Notes (EHR), Google Meet, etc.

Pay: $42,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year

Experience:

• counseling/therapy: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• License through the Montana Board of Behavioral Health? (Required)
