BACKGROUND
Universal Compressed Air (UCA) is a privately-owned and thriving high-technology business in the Lehigh Valley, focused on compressed air systems for industry. UCA engineers, constructs, operates and manages Compressed Air Systems (CAS) for the industrial market in North America and is currently seeking candidates for a System Administrator to work on user enablement, modern workspace deployment, IAM, collaboration architecture.
POSITION SUMMARY
We are transitioning from an outsourced Managed Service Provider (MSP) model to a dedicated in-house engineering team. We are looking for a Junior System Administrator to be the second full-time member of this team.
This is not a dead-end helpdesk role. You will work directly alongside a Senior Engineer with over 20 years of experience, honing the skills needed to manage a modern, cloud-first infrastructure. Your goal is not just to close tickets, but to grow into a full-fledged System Administrator.

Who You Are

Language and Communication Skills: Ability to write reports basic activity reports and, if needed, provide updates to procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from other associates, managers, and Customers. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general technical procedures.
Computer & Mathematical Skills: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, proportions, percentages, area, and volume. Ability to apply basic math concepts and perform detailed/accurate data entry. Proficiency with MS Office, business software, and database management.
Reasoning/Analytical Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in oral, written, diagram or schedule form.
