Job Summary

Novel Beverage is seeking a full-time production and facilities plant manager for our small, busy, locally owned, cannabis beverage, edible and products manufacturing operation in Scarborough, Maine. You will be the on-site person in charge for all manufacturing facility, systems, equipment and manufacturing operations with support from our experienced company wide operations manager.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all facility matters and manufacturing operations within the plant.
• Manage production planning, scheduling, and manufacturing of beverages, edibles and cannabis products.
• Follow and improve SOPs and assist leadership team in planning for product line expansions and sales growth.
• Record batching and manufacturing data.
• Monitor and coordinate repairs and maintenance of manufacturing facility and equipment.
• Plan and coordinate raw ingredient and packaging materials inventory and procurement.
• Oversee and execute cleaning and sanitation processes for facility and equipment.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols, quality standards, regulatory requirements, and plant policies while fostering a culture of efficiency and safety awareness.
• Train and manage production assistant.

Skills

• Proven experience in production management within beverage or edibles manufacturing environments.
• Strong knowledge of beverage and product manufacturing systems and processes.
• Positive mindset, can do attitude, self starter motivation.
• Mechanical knowledge related to plant equipment maintenance and assembly processes.
• Team oriented attitude. As a small business, you will work directly with three co-workers and manage one of them.
• Familiarity with quality control procedures and regulatory compliance specific to food safety standards in beverage and edible production environments.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.

Benefits:

• $200/month health care cost reimbursement (after 6 months employment)
• 10 days PTO annually (after 6 months employment)
