Role: Regional Safety Manager

Location: Multiple regional project sites throughout Massachusetts (Travel required, company vehicle provided)

The Safety Manager implements and oversees safety programs across multiple construction sites, working closely with site leadership to maintain a proactive safety culture.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee Safety: Manage day-to-day safety operations across multiple active bridge construction sites.
Conduct Inspections: Perform regular site audits to check for hazards unique to bridge building, such as fall protection, crane operations, trench safety, and silica protection.
Enforce Regulations: Ensure all field operations strictly follow OSHA, local, and federal safety laws.
Lead Training: Organize and conduct safety meetings, toolbox talks, and specialized training for field crews.
Investigate Incidents: Lead the root-cause analysis for any near-misses or accidents and write detailed reports.
Collaborate: Work closely with Project Managers and Superintendents to build a proactive safety culture.
Documentation and Record Keeping: Maintain OSHA Logs and required records, document inspections, audits, and corrective actions, Review permits and employee certifications, document safety meeting via safety management software.
Qualifications
5+ years of construction safety experience
Large commercial background preferred
OSHA 30 and other relevant certifications
Strong communication skills
Pay: $110,000.00 per year
