What You'll Do

As our QMS Manager, you'll play a key role in developing and maintaining our quality systems while supporting production and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities include:

• Perform First Article Inspections (FAIs)
• Conduct in-process and final inspections
• Generate dimensional inspection reports
• Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and GD&T
• Support, maintain, and continually improve our Quality Management System (QMS)
• Develop and maintain quality documentation, procedures, and work instructions
• Investigate non-conformances and implement corrective and preventive actions
• Lead internal quality initiatives and continuous improvement projects
• Train and mentor machinists, operators, and production staff on quality standards and inspection techniques
• Communicate effectively with customers regarding quality requirements and documentation
• Ensure products meet customer specifications and internal quality standards

Qualifications

We're looking for someone with:

• 5+ years of quality experience in a CNC machining or precision manufacturing environment preferred
• Strong understanding of Quality Management Systems (QMS)
• Extensive knowledge of GD&T and blueprint interpretation
• Experience performing First Article Inspections (AS9102 experience is a plus)
• Experience creating dimensional inspection reports
• Proficiency using precision measuring equipment, including calipers, micrometers, indicators, height gauges, and other inspection tools
• Excellent organizational and documentation skills
• Strong problem-solving and root cause analysis abilities
• Ability to communicate effectively with machinists, programmers, customers, and management

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with one or more of the following is a plus:

• AS9100 or ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems
• Defense, aerospace, semiconductor, or medical manufacturing
• Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA)
• Internal auditing
• Supplier quality
• Customer quality documentation
• ERP and quality management software
