AMG Titanium LLC produces metal alloys in New Castle, Pennsylvania for Aerospace and other industries. This position provides technical leadership for product development, continual improvement, project management, process improvement and support of safety, quality and manufacturing for the operations. Compensation within the listed range will be based on the type and level of experience, and a competitive benefit package is provided with this position. Relocation assistance is provided if needed or required.
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Supply Chain Manager to oversee and optimize our supply chain operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the end-to-end supply chain process, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in procurement, production, and distribution. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and the ability to collaborate across various departments. At least 5 years of experience at a manufacturing company performing supply chain duties is strongly preferred. Supply chain and buying experience within a metals manufacturing, metal alloy production environment ( with emphasis on raw materials purchasing) is very strongly preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Work safely and actively support safety culture and programs
- Lead all aspects of the supply chain including planning, sourcing/buying, manufacturing, delivery and disposal
- Execute sourcing strategy to meet customer demand, reduce costs and lower risk
- Lead continual improvement to reduce lead-time, inventory and supply chain costs
- Foresee potential global and market disruptions in the normal flow of goods and establish effective plans to mitigate risks and respond to challenges
- Coordinate and monitor inbound and outbound shipments and resolve any issues to prevent disruptions
- Ensure that purchased materials are available to meet customer demand and prevent interruption of production
- Track delivery performance trends and initiate root cause analysis and corrective actions as needed
- Collaborate with vendors, suppliers and internal customers to ensure all operations (e.g. shipping, delivery) meet safety and quality standards.
- Support sales and quality organizations with customer related issues
- Participate in supplier selection and supplier audits as required
- Lead teams as assigned and participate with teams as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business/Marketing, Engineering or applicable area of study
- Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, Engineering or applicable area of study preferred
- At least 5 years of experience at a manufacturing company performing supply chain duties
- Prior experience with the metal industry supply chain strongly preferred
- Knowledge of the Vanadium, Aluminum and Molybdenum markets strongly preferred
- Knowledge of import and export requirements strongly preferred
- Project management experience preferred
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing and six sigma strongly preferred

Supervisory Responsibilities:
The Global Supply Chain Manager has 1 direct report.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
- Must be able to travel between the two New Castle plants
- Travel domestically and internationally up to 25% of the time
- Must be able to work in a manufacturing environment with personal protective equipment as required
