Job Requirements:
1. B.S. or Equivalent education/experience in Manufacturing and Quality Systems
2. Previous Automotive experience required
3. Certification as ISO/IATF16949 Internal Assessor
4. 5-7 years experience in the quality assurance field
5. 2-4 years experience in ISO/TS16949 Implementation
6. Prior experience working with Third Party Registrars
7. Database experience preferred
8. Advanced Math skills required; Statistical /SPC training preferred
9. Previous experience of Quality Systems Management preferred

Job Description:
1. Manage and lead all activities associated with the creation, implementation and maintenance of the ISO9001 / IATF16949 Quality System
2. Ensure training is provided to all personnel within the organization for ISO 9001 / IATF16949 System Requirements
3. Facilitate the integration of UES Quality Standards into the QMS
3. Promote the company quality policy and the organizational goals of the company
4. Assist all areas/departments as needed in developing procedures, work instructions and required documentation
5. Coordinate all activities associated with the third party registrar, pre-assessment, initial and surveillance audits
6. Ensure that all corrective actions related to non-conformances identified in a third party audit are addressed, processed and verified
7. Ensure that the internal audit schedule reviews all elements of the QMS and UES Quality Standards and confirm that the QMS is effectively implemented; Establish firm resolution of internal findings
8. Ensure QMS training of all internal auditors and potential corrective action assignees is complete and effective
9. Lead the maintenance of the QMS software system and provide technical support
10. Audit the effectiveness of root cause analysis of CAR's. Provide leadership in the development and implementation of irreversible countermeasures
11. Evaluate QMS countermeasures for effectiveness prior to presentation to customer or other auditor
12. Participate in Customer audits as required, as well as nonconformance closure activities
13. Develop and administer layered process auditing within Portland and Smyrna facilities
14. Maintain quality tracking charts as requested
15. Prepare necessary metrics, reporting, and presentations for Quality Meetings
16. Stay knowledgeable of customer specific requirements and Unipres conformance
17. Other duties as assigned

Pay: $63,040.00 - $94,560.00 per year
