About the Role
Precision Garage Door Service of Indianapolis is seeking a Builder & Commercial Business Development Manager to expand our presence within the residential builder and commercial markets.
This is not an account management role. This is a relationship-driven sales role focused on creating opportunities, opening doors (and selling them), and building strategic partnerships.

What You'll Do
- Identify, pursue, and develop relationships with custom home builders, production builders, and commercial clients
- Generate meetings through outbound calling, networking, LinkedIn outreach, referrals, jobsite visits, and face-to-face prospecting
- Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of builder and commercial opportunities
- Create and execute a strategic territory plan to drive growth
- Conduct site visits and gather field measurements
- Review building plans and specifications
- Prepare project estimates and proposals
- Maintain accurate CRM documentation and pipeline forecasting
- Consult with customers on design options on site or remotely
Who We're Looking For

- Naturally outgoing and confident in networking environments
- Strong communicator who can connect equally well with a CEO, project manager, superintendent, office administrator, or field technician
- Comfortable operating in a role that is still being built and refined
- Competitive, resourceful, and persistent
- Experience in business development, outside sales, construction sales, or commercial sales preferred
- Technical B2B Sales experience highly preferred
Performance Expectations
- Generate $2M-$3.5M+ in annual sales revenue
- Secure and develop strategic builder relationships
- Generate commercial installation, replacement, and service opportunities
- Develop recurring maintenance agreement revenue
- Maintain a healthy pipeline capable of supporting annual revenue goals
- Consistently pursue opportunities ranging from $10,000 to $250,000+
Compensation
- Annual On-Target Earnings (OTE): $135,000-$175,000+
- Base Salary: $50,000
- Uncapped commission plan
- Bonus incentives
- Year one guarantee $100k-$150k based on candidate
- Significant upside for high performers who exceed goals

Pay: $135,000.00 - $175,000.00 per year
