Tier 1 Auto Supplier seeks an Operations Manager within the Operations Team, responsible for overseeing the performance and directing continual improvements with all Operations/Purchasing Departmental functions.

Responsibilities include:

• Oversee Operations/Purchasing Department daily operations, including performance management and employee development
• Maintain and improve delivery performance and customer satisfaction
• Coordinate communications with internal departments, OEM customers, and overseas manufacturing facilities
• Maintain customer and company guided requirements for safety stock and inventory levels
• Oversee inventory management processes and controls to avoid inventory obsolescence and abnormal expenses
• Review and approve production orders
• Develop value-added metrics and generate associated reporting
• Develop and maintain departmental budgets

Required Skills/Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree and 5-8 years in the automotive industry operations and supply chain logistics management
• Must have strong employee management skills
• Experience in MRP, EDI and inventory systems knowledge

Desired Skills/Qualifications:

• Experience desired with MFG/PRO (QAD), DDL & SMART
• Spanish &/or Japanese language a plus

Pay: $115,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
