We are looking for an upbeat, positive, team player with great personal skills to compliment our dental team! We have very low to no team turnover and are seeking the right person to replace a retiring team member.
We are looking for a dental assistant or EFDA to fill this position.
If you enjoy a corporate clinic atmosphere, this is not the position for you. We are a one doctor, family practice of 20 plus years that is mostly a fee for service office. We see families and patients from 3 to 103 years old and treat everyone with respect and kindness.
Our ideal team member exhibits the following characteristics:

Job description includes:
-Greeting, seating, reviewing medical history, dental concerns of patients, and taking necessary digital radiographs.
-Assisting dentist during procedures a variety of treatment procedures including digital scans for same day crowns (training for this is straight forward and will be provided)
-Milling and polishing of same day crowns(training for this is also straight forward and will be provided)
-Educating patients on their treatment plans, as directed by the doctor
-Escorting patient to front desk, and documentation of appointment.
-Carrying out proper infection control, preparing, organizing and sterilizing instruments and equipment. Also, setting up operatories for upcoming treatment.
-Restocking and keeping supplies organized and in stock
-If the candidate is an EFDA, responsibilities with also include placing dental sealants, fluoride varnishes, matrix bands, wedges, liners, and resin restorations(no amalgams in our office), finishing and polishing resin restoration with attention to detail.
Hours:
We have great hours that include Wednesdays, Friday afternoons, and weekends OFF!
It's like having a weekend in the middle of the week.
Our hours of patient care are:
Mondays 8-6
Tuesdays 8-5
Thursdays 8-6
Fridays 7-12
Our team arrives 20 minutes prior to patient care hours, gets an hour for lunch, and leaves after the office is cleaned and organized after last patient.
We like to be efficient with our time at the office and value promptness as well as our patients time.
Experience:
Dental assisting:1 or more years preferred
Required:
X-ray certification
CPR certification
If applying as an EFDA, an EFDA certification for Pennsylvania
Beneficial by not required:
Dentrix experience
