Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Maintenance Team Lead to oversee and coordinate all maintenance activities within our manufacturing facility. This role is vital in ensuring the smooth operation of industrial equipment, facilities, and systems by leading a team of maintenance technicians. The Maintenance Team Lead will be responsible for managing maintenance schedules, troubleshooting complex mechanical and electrical issues, and implementing preventative maintenance programs. This position offers an exciting opportunity to lead a dedicated team, optimize equipment performance, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for identifying needed repairs and improvements.
• Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of all buildings and grounds.
• Delegating and prioritizing maintenance duties to ensure maintenance requests are being finished efficiently.
• Work with Vendors to order parts, supplies, and equipment
• Maintains the appropriate parts on hand to ensure the equipment stays operational, with little downtime.
• Will be responsible for working with companies to obtain maintenance repair quotes, when needed.
• Recommends solutions for maintenance issues and does cost analysis of each solution, as required
• Conducts routine safety and housekeeping tours to ensure that facilities/equipment are safe and up to GMP standards.
• Informs Production Manager of any potential problems or issues regarding any maintenance project.
• Work with the Production Manager to prioritize maintenance needs, when needed.
• General repair and maintenance of plant equipment and building.
• Responsible for attending meetings, when needed.
• Follow safety rules and regulations and ensures all maintenance personnel follow safety rules and regulations.
• Comply with food safety guidelines at all times.
• Checking job completion
• Pest control
• All other duties as assigned

Requirements

• 5 plus years of maintenance experience
• Leadership experience
• Must have in-depth experience and knowledge with most of the following: conveyance systems, welding, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, hydraulics, and machine operations.
• Must be detail-oriented
• Ability to work independently, multi-task, and flexible with work schedule.
• Strong leadership skills

• Skilled with a variety of tools and power tools
• Capable of passing all required training modules.
• Ability to stand/sit continuously for 3 hours and lift heavy objects.
