Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Combilift Driver specializing in multi-directional side-loaders and 3-in-1 forklifts to join our dynamic warehouse operations team. This role involves frequently exiting and entering the lift as all lift operators are required to assist floor personnel with maintaining 6-S initiatives, wrapping / preparing pallets, labeling, etc. The ideal candidate will possess at least two years of specific, Combilift experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment and a strong commitment to safety standards and company policies. As a key player in our logistics process, you will contribute to maintaining seamless warehouse distribution and inventory accuracy, supporting our mission of operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Operate Combilift multi-directional side-loaders and other forklift types to move materials safely and efficiently. NOTE: YOU MUST HAVE ACTUAL COMBILIFT EXPERIENCE TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS ROLE.
• Move rolled coils of steel, pallets, and materials between departments; safely unload carrier trucks
• Conduct daily inspections on all lifts operated to ensure safety compliance.
• Assist with order picking, inventory management, wrapping materials, staging, and assisting on the plant floor when needed.
• Be responsive to radio calls and instructions, proactively communicating any holdups or issues on the floor.
• Adhere strictly to OSHA safety standards and company policies during all equipment operation and materials handling activities.
• Perform heavy lifting tasks as required while maintaining proper ergonomic practices.

Skills

• Proven experience operating Combilift multi-directional side-loaders.
• Familiarity with OSHA safety regulations related to forklift operation and materials handling.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations for inventory counts, measurements, and weight assessments.
• Experience in shipping & receiving processes along with order picking techniques.
• Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members across various warehouse functions.
• Demonstrated ability to handle heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail.
• Knowledge of warehouse distribution practices including materials handling, load & unload procedures, and equipment maintenance.

Pay: $17.00 - $17.50 per hour
