Job Overview

We’re hiring a dependable, professional delivery van driver to service refrigerated (reefer) routes through out West Bronx, South Bronx, and Hunts Point. Your own reefer van should be used during your shift. You bring the work ethic, attention to detail, and commitment to getting temperature-sensitive deliveries done right and on time. This is an independent contractor position for someone who takes pride in their work and understands that cold chain integrity is non-negotiable.

Duties

Your own refrigerated van to complete deliveries within the designated Bronx service area.

• Maintain strict cold chain compliance -monitor and log van temperatures, ensuring product stays within required ranges from pickup to drop-off
• Stay especially vigilant during summer months, when heat puts added demand on the reefer unit and tighter temperature control is critical
• Follow efficient routes across West Bronx, South Bronx, and Hunts Point
• Handle products with care and maintain accurate delivery and temperature records
• Communicate clearly with dispatch and resolve delivery exceptions professionally
• Represent the company well at every stop

Skills

• Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier, preferably with refrigerated or box trucks
• Strong knowledge of route driving, navigation, and traffic laws
• Customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
• Experience loading/unloading cargo, heavy lifting, and moving items safely
• Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles and equipment like forklifts or pallet jacks when required
• Physical stamina for heavy lifting, moving freight, and extended periods of driving

• Earn up to $800 per day for multiple routes/shifts

Pay: $350.00 - $450.00 per day
