This merchandiser position will be assigned to service stores on a specific route for Flowers Baking Company.

Flowers Foods owns several well-known brands including Dave's Killer Bread, Wonder Bread, Tastykake & Nature's Own.

*This position will require traveling to different stores in the Dubois, PA area.

The merchandiser position is a stepping stone position that often lead to a full-time Route Sales Driver position.

Merchandiser Pay: $19.21/hour (weekly pay)

Merchandiser Hours: 20-30 hours per week

Merchandiser Schedule:

• Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, Thursday & Friday (Start time is 5:00AM)
• Off on Tuesdays and Saturdays

MERCHANDISER RESPONSIBILITES:

• Merchandise, stock, and rotate bread and cake products on a company assigned restock route at various retail partners. Adhere to the stop sequence, and established service times to drive efficiency and to ensure continued customer satisfaction and consistent service times
• Adhere to the fresh market policy by appropriately rotating product. Always ensure shelf life is maximized with proper rotation of products
• Adhere to required customer shelf schematic/plan-o-gram to ensure customer compliance
• Restock and straighten out shelves and displays at each service
• Check in and communicate with store management at each visit
• Establish and maintain a sound, professional working relationship with key personnel
• Maintain a professional appearance
• Maintain cleanliness of an organized workspace
• Ensure compliance with all Company Policies and Procedures.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Possess a valid driver’s license, a safe driving record and have or obtain a reliable means of transportation to and from stores
• Must be customer oriented with the ability to provide an extraordinary level of customer service and solve customer issues as they occur.
• Ability to work various hours and days of the week, and potentially some holidays – (hours are based on client needs)
• Must be able to regularly lift and carry products weight up to 50 lbs. as well as the ability to push/pull up to 100 lbs.
• Must be able to pass a nationwide background check, and pre-employment drug screen
