Sales Representative – Fire Equipment (Commander Product Line)

Job Summary
Weis Fire and Safety LLC is seeking a Sales Representative to drive nationwide sales growth of our patented Draft Commander 3000 mobile pump testing and training trailer, along with our Foam Commander and Hose Commander product lines.
This role combines inside and outside sales and is ideal for a self-starter with a proven, goal-driven track record who can build relationships, manage a sales pipeline, and close deals across a national territory.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and grow existing customer relationships while expanding the client base nationwide
- Sell and promote the Draft Commander 3000, Foam Commander, and Hose Commander product lines
- Build relationships with fire departments, training organizations, and industrial customers
- Manage full sales cycle from prospecting through closing
- Conduct product demonstrations at customer locations
- Maintain CRM data, sales pipeline, and forecasting
- Prepare quotes, bids, and proposals
- Provide after-sales support and resolve customer issues as needed
- Communicate proactively with customers regarding order status, delays, or issues
- Support reporting and sales projections
- Attend trade shows and industry events
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of sales experience (fire apparatus, fire equipment, or capital equipment sales preferred)
- Proven ability to follow up consistently, manage a sales pipeline, and close deals
- Self-starter with high motivation and a goal-driven mindset
- Experience managing a multi-state or national territory preferred
- Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Experience with quoting systems (QuickBooks preferred)
- Familiarity with CRM systems and sales pipeline management
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong customer service and problem-solving skills
- Valid driver’s license required (Class B CDL is a plus)
- Willingness to travel
