A Porter (Environmental Services/Janitor) is responsible for general cleaning and sanitation throughout the facility, including work areas, restrooms, dish room, coolers, utility areas, offices, and transportation areas (inside and outside the facility).

$18.00/hour | Full-time | Benefits available

Main Duties & Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and perform general cleaning tasks
• Empty trash throughout the facility
• Maintain sanitation standards in compliance with company and regulatory requirements
• Follow instructions and work as part of a team
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

Education: High school diploma or GED preferred
Experience: Up to 1 year preferred

Skills:

• Ability to read and complete basic forms
• Ability to communicate with supervisors and coworkers

Job Requirements

• Must be able to work assigned schedule (may include weekends and holidays)
• Overtime as needed
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Compliance with company policies
• Ability to complete basic paperwork

Work Environment

• Exposure to meat, poultry, fish, and other food products
• Exposure to cleaning chemicals, noise, and temperature changes
• Must be able to lift, push, pull, and move up to 50 lbs frequently
• Standing, bending, and moving for 8+ hour shifts
