KETMOY Printing is an established, family-owned business, and one of Butler County’s oldest and largest commercial printers. We are a company with a strong mix of established and new employees and are looking for a Prepress Operator to join our growing team. This position plays a important role in the company and reports to the Prepress Manager.

KETMOY has experienced significant growth over the past few years; invested heavily in new equipment and technology, as well as people to help us keep up with customer demand. This position in our Prepress department is key to helping us maintain our high level of quality, service, and overall customer satisfaction. The Prepress Operator creates, inspects, and processes graphics, text, and layouts that meet or exceed customer requirements, specifications, and regulations.

Responsibilities and Job Requirements

Candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent, or an advanced 2-year, or 4-year degree. Individuals need to be able to manage tasks with minimal supervision and be capable of multi-tasking. Position requires strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

Specific Requirements:

• Comprehensive printing knowledge with an overall understanding of prepress, press, and post-press processes
• Two years experience in a prepress environment (preferred)
• Knowledge of both MAC OS and MS Windows operating systems
• Advanced working knowledge of Adobe Suite (Acrobat Pro, Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign). Knowledge of Enfocus PitStop Pro and Prinect a plus.
• Check preflighted supplied files for correctness and communicate any issues/concerns to Prepress Manager or CSR.
• Prep and impose approved, preflighted files and create digital and hard copy proofs for customers
• Physically able to help load plates and operate digital printer
