Lead Line Cook Job Description

The Lead Line Cook oversees daily food preparation and supports kitchen operations by leading the line during service. This role ensures food is prepared according to recipes and quality standards while maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients and cook menu items according to recipes
• Maintain clean and organized prep and cooking stations
• Follow food safety and sanitation standards
• Assist with inventory, stocking, and kitchen organization
• Work collaboratively with kitchen staff during service
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of professional cooking experience.
• Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment.
• Understanding of food safety and sanitation standards.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and remain organized under pressure.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and leadership skills.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour
