About the Role:

The Machinist A - EDM (2nd shift OR Weekend shift) plays a critical role in the manufacturing process by operating Electrical Discharge Machines (EDM) to produce precision metal parts according to detailed specifications. This position requires meticulous attention to detail to ensure that all components meet quality standards and customer requirements. The machinist will be responsible for setting up, programming, and maintaining EDM equipment, as well as troubleshooting any issues that arise during production. Working primarily on the 2nd shift or weekend shift, the role demands reliability and the ability to work independently while adhering to safety protocols. Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience operating Electrical Discharge Machines (EDM) in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.
• Basic knowledge of machining principles and measurement tools.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of EDM machines to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
