This position will be for full-time days, Monday to Friday with no weekends or on call. The Quality/Clinical Informatics Manager uses knowledge of clinical information and computer science to manage and communicate data, information, and knowledge, as well as improve clinical practice. Assists in the design, development, and implementation of computerized healthcare systems. Supports human-computer and human-technology interactions for patients and staff. Develop strategies and procedures for modifying information technology to best support clinicians.
Responsible for planning and implementing the performance improvement program to meet the needs of the organization. Provides education to medical staff, departmental staff and Governing Body as needed. Facilitates performance improvement activities and CQI activities throughout the organization. Acts as a resource person to administrative team, department managers and medical staff. Assists department managers with preparations for committees. Oversight responsibility for all regulatory body surveys, e.g., the accrediting organization, State Licensing Review, CMS validation surveys. Maintains oversight for all performance activities conducted throughout the institution.
