Our team works on a diverse portfolio of civil site development projects, including schools, public safety facilities, municipal buildings, commercial developments, utility infrastructure, parks and recreation facilities, and federal installations.
As a Civil Project Manager, you'll lead projects from concept through construction while collaborating with our in-house surveying and environmental professionals. You'll have the opportunity to make decisions, mentor the next generation of engineers, and help shape the future of both our clients and our firm.
Responsibilities
- Lead civil site development projects from planning and permitting through construction.
- Manage project schedules, budgets, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Oversee grading, drainage, stormwater management, utility design, erosion and sediment control, and site infrastructure.
- Build strong relationships with clients, architects, contractors, and regulatory agencies.
- Mentor junior engineers and support their professional development.
- Contribute to business development by strengthening existing client relationships and identifying new opportunities.
Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Virginia, or the ability to obtain Virginia licensure.
- Eight or more years of civil engineering experience.
- Experience managing civil site development projects.
- Strong communication and client relationship skills.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D.
