Job Overview
Sullivan Supply is seeking a dynamic, strategic, and results-oriented Director of Marketing to lead the company's marketing efforts and continue building one of the most recognized brands in the livestock industry.
The Director of Marketing will oversee all aspects of marketing, branding, digital strategy, content development, customer engagement, and e-commerce marketing across Sullivan Supply and affiliated brands. This individual will lead a team of six or more marketing professionals and be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies that drive growth, strengthen brand loyalty, and support company objectives.
This position oversees the marketing and promotion of Sullivan Supply's nationally recognized programs, including The Pulse, Stock Show University, the Best of the Barns Awards, and the Sullivan Supply Scholarship Program. The role also oversees the strategic direction and performance of the Sullivan Supply and GameDay Ironworks websites, social media platforms, digital advertising, and customer communications.
The ideal candidate will be a strong leader with extensive digital marketing experience, a passion for storytelling, and an appreciation for the values that define the livestock industry.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Strategy
- Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies that align with company goals and growth initiatives.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 6+ marketing professionals.
- Establish annual marketing objectives, budgets, and performance metrics.
- Collaborate with company leadership, sales, product development, customer service, and operations teams to support business objectives.
- Identify new opportunities to expand brand awareness, customer engagement, and revenue growth.
Digital Marketing & E-Commerce
- Oversee all digital marketing initiatives including:
- Paid advertising
- Email marketing
- Social media marketing
- Content marketing
- Marketing automation
- Customer acquisition campaigns
- Website optimization
- Direct the strategy, performance, and ongoing development of the Sullivan Supply and GameDay Ironworks websites.
- Monitor website analytics, customer behavior, and conversion metrics to improve online performance and user experience.
- Lead efforts to increase website traffic, customer engagement, and online sales.
- Develop and implement SEO strategies to improve organic search visibility.
Brand & Content Management
- Ensure brand consistency across all customer-facing platforms and communications.
- Oversee content creation for digital, print, video, social media, educational, and promotional campaigns.
- Manage company storytelling efforts that connect with customers and reinforce the Sullivan Supply brand.
- Direct social media strategy and engagement across all company brands and programs.
Programs & Events
- Oversee marketing and promotion for:
- The Pulse
- Stock Show University
- Best of the Barns Awards
- Sullivan Supply Scholarship Program
- Support product launches, educational initiatives, industry partnerships, and company-sponsored events.
- Represent Sullivan Supply at livestock exhibitions, trade shows, industry conferences, and customer events.
Analytics & Performance
- Track and report marketing performance metrics and ROI.
- Utilize data-driven insights to optimize campaigns and marketing investments.
- Stay current on industry trends, consumer behavior, and emerging marketing technologies.
Travel Requirements
This position requires travel of up to 50 days annually to livestock exhibitions, trade shows, educational programs, customer events, and industry conferences throughout the United States.
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
- 5+ years of progressive marketing leadership experience.
- Proven experience managing and developing marketing teams.
- Extensive knowledge of digital marketing strategy and execution.
- Strong understanding of paid media, email marketing, social media, content marketing, and e-commerce marketing.
- Excellent communication, leadership, project management, and organizational skills.
- Ability to analyze marketing data and develop actionable insights.
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 50 days per year.
Preferred
- Experience developing and implementing SEO strategies.
- Experience managing e-commerce websites and digital customer acquisition initiatives.
- Familiarity with CRM and marketing automation platforms.
- Livestock, agriculture, or stock show experience is a plus, but not required.

Pay: From $80,000.00 per year
