Responsibilities:

• Oversee projects in the development, rollout, and maintenance of the Commercial Diplomacy Enterprise initiative.
• Develop and maintain the Commercial Diplomacy Enterprise (CDE) and the Commercial Diplomacy Case Managemer (CDCM) platform, leveraging proficiency in PowerApps, Power Automate, and SharePoint to build, update, and streamline platform workflows using these tools.
• Oversee data quality and integrity within the CDCM platform; design, develop, and maintain data visualizations and dashboards using PowerBI; and moderate CDCM content by creating new tools and resources that enhance CBA's analytical and reporting capabilities.
• Support private sector engagement efforts by office, bureau, and Department leadership and promote commercial opportunities of strategic importance with U.S. companies.
• Deliver subject matter expertise on public diplomacy relating to U.S. commercial activity and highlight wins for U.S. companies secured by the Department and the USG.
• Assist in drafting speeches, memos, and other briefing material for business outreach and engagement efforts.
• Provide commercial advocacy support to help American companies compete for and win contracts in foreign markets.
• Ensure compliance with the NDAA FY2024 through the implementation of the Deal Team of the Year Awards.
• Ensure compliance with the Championing American Business through Diplomacy Act of 2019 through the annual survey; report; and the establishment of both the interagency Economic Diplomacy Action Group and Trade Expansion Advisory Committee.
• Serve as subject matter expert on a particular region’s commercial issues and lead on commercial issues for the Department in that region.
• Other contractor support as needed.

Qualification, Education & Experience:

• Clearance Level: Active Secret Clearance with possible need for Top Secret
• Minimum Degree: A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
• Preferred Majors: Business Administration, International Economics, Political Science, Global Public Policy, or International Trade.
• A minimum of 3 to 5 years of professional experience in international business, market analysis, supply chain, or trade compliance is often required in tandem with the degree.

Additional Requirements:

• Advanced proficiency in PowerApps, Power Automate, and SharePoint is mandatory with a proven track record of building, updating, and streamlining platform workflows.
• Demonstrated expertise in PowerBI to design, develop, and maintain complex data dashboards, ensuring data quality and integrity for the Commercial Diplomacy Case Manager (CDCM) platform.
• Ability to draft high-level briefing materials, speeches, and memos tailored for Department of State leadership and private sector executives.
• Familiarity with implementing mandates from the NDAA FY2024 (specifically managing the Deal Team of the Year Awards) and the Championing American Business through Diplomacy Act of 2019.

Pay: $130,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
