WHAT YOU'LL DO
As Project Manager - Off Grid, you will lead the execution of a complex, off-grid development project on a remote island near Vancouver. You'll manage everything from logistics and vendor coordination to budget tracking and onsite execution. This project includes multiple all-season yurts, an A-frame lodge, custom infrastructure (solar/generator, septic, heli-pad), and trail/utility installation. You'll report to the VP of Land Development and be supported by a field superintendent already based on site.
You'll operate in a high-urgency, design-build environment, where timelines are compressed and expectations are elevated - especially when working with ultra-high-net-worth individuals (UHNWI) and their advisors.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage all phases of the Off Grid Island project, including yurts, A-frame, heli-pad, and off-grid utilities
Coordinate logistics of materials, equipment, contractors, and transport (e.g. barge, helicopter)
Oversee execution of solar/generator installation, water systems, and septic solutions
Track budgets, maintain construction timelines, and ensure vendor alignment
Report to the VP of Land Development with updates, site photos, and field-level risks
Operate with autonomy while collaborating closely with on-site leadership and vendors
Execute design-build project scope with precision, adapting plans in real-time as site conditions and client needs evolve
Deliver results under accelerated timelines, with a relentless focus on quality, speed, and client-level expectations
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
5+ years in off-grid, remote site, or rugged terrain construction project management
Demonstrated experience managing full-cycle builds with minimal infrastructure support
Familiarity with off-grid systems: solar arrays, generators, water/septic, telecom
Ability to plan, sequence, and manage projects with weather/environment constraints
Strong verbal/written communication skills, with clear reporting style
Hands-on approach with confidence operating in isolated job sites
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; PMP certification a plus
Proven ability to lead capital projects from design through build - managing everything from initial plans to field execution
Experience working directly with or adjacent to ultra-high-net-worth individuals and high-touch client environments
Able to travel and spend multi-week rotations on-site in undisclosed location off the coast of Vancouver, BC
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
An aggressive base salary will be provided in this position, with an additional lucrative bonus plan based on performance. Full medical benefits are provided as part of this role. Options/equity will be provided to suitable candidates after completion of the first 90 days. This role also provides the opportunity for advancement in role, function, and pay.
