R. Roese Contracting Company is seeking an experienced OSP Supervisor to support underground fiber construction operations. This position requires someone with hands-on working knowledge and experience in red lines and as-builts.

You will be assisting our current management team overseeing daily field activities, supporting construction crews, maintaining quality and safety standards, and ensuring work is completed according to project requirements. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong field experience and the ability to keep crews productive and projects moving forward.

Responsibilities/Duties:

· Administrative – Generate red line as-builts; able to read and understand construction drawings and project documentation; meet with inspectors; coordinate work assignments and monitor production progress

· Supervision – lay out daily work schedule and assign tasks to appropriate individuals; conduct on site coordination with subcontractors; enforce company policies and safety standards;

· Safety – Making sure safety precautions are followed daily; conduct damage investigations; conduct regularly scheduled safety meetings

· Job Performance – Work extended hours on nights and weekends during emergency events; able to recognize problems quickly and use good judgement in locating the most appropriate guideline or practice to follow with little or no supervision to solve problems

· Communication – Communicate professionally with clients, inspectors, utility representatives, and the public; participate in meetings with corporate managers and staff

Qualifications:

· 3+ years of experience in telecommunications or fiber construction

· Previous experience as a Foreman, Lead, or similar leadership role

· Proficient computer skills in multiple types of software including MS Office applications

· Strong understanding of aerial and underground construction practices

· Commitment to safety, quality, and production standards

· Acceptable criminal and motor vehicle record

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
